Anderson did well. My thoughts are we will see Shogun verses Jones next and I predict Jones to dominate that match and take the belt. Jones is a bad man, did you see how he dominated Bader, but he has done that to all his opponents.

I think its gonna be a very tough fight for Jones, short notice prep for such a dangerous and brutal striker. I hope he wins, I been on the bandwagon for a couple years now but its not gonna be easy.

Shogun doesnt have great TDD, and Jones will have an extreme reach advantage. Shogun will have to close distance fast and can lead to getting put on his back.

Jones' reach comes into play on the ground as well. With arms that long, he can sync up submissions from all sorts of angles and drop bombs with more force than anyone else.

I am hyped to ****, I cannot wait. 126 might give us Jones/Shogun AND GSP/Silva.......wow

    Re: No UFC 126 talk

that photos been making the rounds, and people seem to try and take it as some form of sign. I think thats stupid, Jones just won a huge fight and got a title shot of course he is gonna be pumped.

Like I said, Jones is a bad match up for him, but **** only a month to prepare is huge. Shogun has been fighting for years now and will come in with a smart gameplan and try to exploit the holes in JJs stand up.
The reach is a big deal, if Shogun has to rely strictly on leg kicks to create range he will leave himself open to counters and takedowns. Jones cannot just let Shogun chop at him tho, if Jones loses his explosiveness he is in deep ****.

People rave about Shoguns grappling and jiu jitsu, but he has never been a guy that uses submissions well. He relies on sweeps and scrambles, but Jones is such a strong, heavy guy that he will make Shogun, coming off knee surgery, carry his weight and hope to force an opening.

Do you guys remember the last time Shogun fought a big strong grappler after a knee surgery?

    It ended with him tapping

He dont have long to prepar but he was helping Rashad prepar for him so I think his camp will be Allright.

I think I would rather see a Jones Jones/ Silva fight more than a Silva/GSP
    GO VOLS
